The Criminal Law (Amendment) has been adopted on 27/11/2015 at the 10th session by The XIII National Assembly. This Law will take effect from 1 July 2016. In the new crimes are added to this Law, there are 02 crimes on radio frequency fields, that is: The crime of illegal use of the radio frequencies reserved for emergency purposes, safety, search, rescue, defense, security, and the crime of intentionally causing harmful interference.

Tan Son Nhat International Airport's customs requested Dect 6.0 cordless phones to re-export

On 26/01/2016, the border-gate Customs Branch of Tan Son Nhat international Airport (Ho Chi Minh City) requested 02 passengers to follow procedures to re-export 07 Dect-6.0 cordless phones. This type of phone is not allowed to use in Viet Nam because the operating frequency bands are in derogation of Vietnamese frequency planning. Using the phones will cause harmful interference to 3G mobile networks in Viet Nam.

The ITU International Satellite Symposium 2015 “Satellite Regulation, Market, Technology Trends and Industry Opportunities” which has been postponed earlier has now been confirmed to take place from 30 September to 1 October 2015 at Vinpearl Luxury Danang Hotel in Da Nang City, Vietnam. The Symposium will be preceded by one-day ITU Workshop on the Efficient Use of the Spectrum/Orbit Resource to be held at the same venue on 29 September 2015. The events are kindly hosted by the Authority of Radio Frequency Management (ARFM), Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam.
